In my previous life, I paid an SEO company to keep my website in the top ten. Because of this, the only thing I knew about the process of optimisation was the need for keywords because it was my job to produce the list!
Apart from that, I had no idea how this was put to use, except that it appeared to work as my company was always in the top ten and we didn’t have to pay if we weren’t.
I thought this was great but of course, it wasn’t cheap.
Then, having become a therapist in my retirement, I asked someone to produce a website for me, I realised that, however hard I tried, I couldn’t find my site using Google but this business could not afford to pay someone to optimise it as it would need to become established first.
I often read remarks and comments from therapists on our forum who had attended Rob’s SEO course, praising it for the instant benefits that they had seen within weeks of the course, having followed Rob’s suggestions. I decided that I had to try and do the course, however difficult it might be and see if it could make a difference, and if not, I would have to start looking for a cheap SEO company or individual.
I was terrified by the appearance of the source code and could not imagine how anyone could learn to do that - ever – a whole heap of ‘gobbledegook’ to me. How could a 61 year old technophobe expect to gain from this course?!
I did the course one month ago and found it easy to understand the principles. You are told that after making some changes you will not see results for three or four weeks, I saw some results after one day! I was amazed and thrilled and I still cannot stop getting pleasure from the improvement in the results.
I still have much to do and have only made a few changes so far, but what a difference!
Apart from that, the pleasure of being in control of your own site and your own destiny is amazing. No-one else to blame but me!
I would recommend this course to anyone, there is nothing to fear and everything to gain.
